BIKE

Take a bike ride down Historic High Street, stop in on the downtown for refreshments, then continue out to Plum Island. There are bike paths in this city and path/trails in some of the abutting towns. Maudslay State park has bike trails. See trail map

Fishing/Surf Casting

If you like deep sea fishing or surfcasting, then Newburyport is your place. Surf Casting is common along the northern part of Plum Island and toward the Merrimack River. Golf

In Newburyport is the Evergreen Valley 9 hole Golf Course. In Salisbury is Rangeway Golf. Here you will find a driving range and Jurassic Mini Golf park.
